Who out there ever heard their mom or grandma or aunt or family friend make a joke about peeing a little when they laughed too hard?
Or maybe you yourself won't jump on the trampoline with your kids, because you're afraid you'll leak a little bit?
Have you ever heard someone talk about dressing differently to try and hide their "mom pooch"?
Or perhaps you feel self conscious when you look in the bathroom mirror after getting out of the shower because of how your stomach looks after having your kids.
What about the comments mothers frequently make about living with back, hip, or pelvic pain ever since their pregnancies because, well - they'd had a baby and that was just normal after having a baby.
One of the biggest misconceptions that has gone on far too long is what's considered “normal” after pregnancies and deliveries.. like living with bodily pain and dysfunction is a sacrifice you make to have a child.
No matter what you have experienced related to your own delivery or what you have heard from friends and family who have had babies - leaking urine or stool is never normal. I mean this in ANY amount - whether just a few drops when you're running or loss of your entire bladder contents when rushing to a toilet.
Poor abdominal strength, back pain, hip pain, pelvic pain, pain during intercourse - these things are COMMON after pregnancies but never NORMAL.
For too long, we have let these symptoms - which are actually the body’s way of communicating with us - become acceptable and “normal.” It’s time to change these old assumptions and improve the awareness of a new normal.

A normal where women know more about their body, what it is telling them it needs, and the treatments available to change their quality of life.
Because women deserve better; especially after bringing new, beautiful life into this world.

I’m Jojo The Pelvic Pro, and I do what I do because I want to create a better normal for mothers. Let me help you #OwnYourPelvis.
